Candidate Responses on EMS Issues
I wrote a letter to all Waterloo Regional Council and Mayoral candidates designed to heighten awareness of current support levels and issues facing our paramedics, and compiled all of the responses into this document, to share with ROW paramedics and their families prior to the 2018 regional and municipal elections.
The responses mostly fall in the range of acknowledgement or open surprise but there are some defensive ones and pointing to steps underway to address up the problem. A worthwhile document to read if you are eligible to vote in the upcoming municipal and regional elections on Oct 22.
