Both the YourBias. Is and YourLogicalFallacyIs.com sites link to a Medium article by the founder of Duck Duck Go, Gabriel Weinberg, expounding on various mental models that have been most valuable to him. This is also quite a good read, not quite as elaborate or comprehensive as some of Shane Parrish’s work in the space, but a very good primer and reference guide. The concept of a mental model is nothing new; it’s just recognizing the flexibility of the frameworks we commonly use, and understanding what they are good for, and where their limitations lie. But there certainly is increasing interest in the space, as everyone looks to hone their edge these days.
