A great biographical film exploring the life and character of Chogyam Trungpa. It was made by his students posthumously, and the care they have taken and the effect he had on them is evident.
One of the things that speaks to his mastery is how was able to translate the bulk of Tibetan Buddhist teachings and understanding into secular, non-religious terms. He identified this as being fundamentally important to being able to spread the teachings in the West; the teachings with the least cultural trappings possible are able, in some senses, to be the most widely applicable, spread and received. Through his own great understanding he was able to distill timeless wisdom into a more universal form. He is a great example for us all, a true master, with a very open sense of personality.
